Thanksgiving is such a fantastic time of the year. We get to spend quality time with our family and friends. But it is also a bad time for our teeth because of all the food and drinks available. Do not get me wrong, I love thanksgiving just like the next person, but I want you guys to take care of your teeth. This time of the year is really important to stick with a good oral hygiene routine.
So let me share some of my personal tips to keep your teeth and gums healthy on the holidays. You won’t be like those guys with stained teeth and bad breath on parties and reunion. The first tip is to brush your teeth every day, at least twice, followed by dental floss and mouthwash to keep your breath nice and fresh.
I recommend to always keeping some sugarless gum in your pocket to chew and produce more saliva. This will help you keep your teeth clean enough until you can get home and brush your teeth.
Things to avoid on thanksgiving if you want a beautiful smile
I think the best advice I can give you guys on this holidays is to keep in mind not to fall into excess. Avoid eating too much sweets and drinking too much alcohol. On a side note, if you are a smoker, maybe is a good time to quit. Tobacco not only stains your teeth, it wears them down badly and fast.
To begin December in the right foot I suggest getting your annual checkup and cleaning at Dental Solutions in Los Algodones Mexico. We have an excellent staff and prices ready to help you with any of your dental needs so you can sport your best smile on 2020!
